In April, Brother Andy McGlothlin, a Deputy District Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Texas, and his wife Tanya made a flying visit to Edinburgh to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary, with a wish also to visit Lodge Rosslyn St. Clair and Rosslyn Chapel. Regrettably time constraints meant we couldn’t provide our usual Rosslyn hospitality for Bro. Andy and Tanya but they did manage to visit the Chapel and the following day met and entertained our Bro. David Kelly PM to lunch in Edinburgh, which proved a most enjoyable opportunity to talk about our different Masonic traditions and experiences – and mementos of our respective lodges. Overall a wonderfully entertaining experience and a true demonstration of our remit to spread the spirit of Freemasonry and Brotherhood at every level across the globe. The photograph is of Bro.
