Funeral, Bro. James P Munro PM

In the early morning of 5 April and after a difficult spell of ill health, Bro. James Peter Munro PM passed peacefully to the Grand Lodge above. Known throughout the Province of Midlothian and to his friends and colleagues simply as ‘JP’, Jim was a stalwart of Rosslyn St. Clair, always willing to assist in any way possible to ensure the wellbeing of the Lodge, serving as Master in 1981 and for a number of years as Secretary. On 11 April 2018 Bro. Thomas Smith, Provincial Grand Master presented Jim with an anniversary jewel and diploma to commemmorate his 50 years in membership of, and service to, the Craft.

JP’s funeral service will be held in Roslin Kirk at 10.45am on Friday 12 April followed at 11.30am by the committal at Roslin Cemetery. JP’s family invite everyone afterwards to the Masonic Hall in Roslin for refreshments.
